Annual Capri Yard Sale

Yard Sale-- 2008: There were 88 registered sellers in the Isles of Capri annual yard sale. A few more than last year. Most people registered by the deadline; there were about 12 people who were late with their applications. In the past, paperwork for the sale has been hand delivered to the late registrants. That entailed a lot of extra work the week before the sale. In the future, all late registrants will have to pick up their own paperwork at Christopher Realty. A lot of people volunteered to work the week before and/or the day of the sale.
Thank you to the following people -- Christopher Realty- Jeri, Debbie, Beau and Whitney for being our Post Office for applications/Yard Sale paperwork, fielding questions, and printing the maps; Donna and Bob Davis for getting the Yard Sale permit; Bob Skubin, Mike Fitzsimmons, Gary, and Ted Decker for putting up and taking down the stakes along Capri Blvd; Abbe Gault, Sheila Colvin, Betty Moenkhaus, Paul Westberry , Ann Marie Salvaggio and Ted Decker for checking streets the day of the sale; Jim and Char Machesney, Sherry and Joel Fitzjerrald, Jan Nelson and Sam for manning the map station.
